Whisky is one of the main reasons Islay is world famous, the (mostly) peated single malts give the island a backbone of character and a heady spirit of adventure. Taking photographs of Islay’s whisky bottles on their native island is something of a recent obsession, but I love the idea that the bottles are in their natural whisky homeland.
