Getting married on Islay?

I love photographing weddings – being able to create stunning images of the couple and guests against the beautiful backdrops this island offers is an amazing thing to be a part of. Having a wedding photographer who is as excited about your wedding as you are, ensures you will get beautiful, natural images that will last you a lifetime.

If you’re getting married on the Isle of Islay – you need a photographer who understands and knows all the locations, and how to get the best from them in all weathers. I offer a natural, friendly and professional approach, combined with a high-end professional editing service to ensure the highest possible quality images.

Your wedding day is all about what you want and need, so I love to work with my couples, find out their styles and interests to ensure the images reflect them and exactly what they need out of their wedding images.

Have a look at my gallery above and check out my Islay page for my images of the island.

Pre-Wedding and on the day

I offer, and encourage, pre-wedding shoots – I love to work with my couples to get the images and feel of the photography right for them. I offer full day and half-day coverage too to get the package that suits you best.

For the best way of getting in touch head to my Facebook Page – or use my Contact Form. I look forward to hearing from you and chatting about your big day!

I love living here. I love photographing here. Islay has interesting and exciting events happening all year round – this page has just a few of the things hat have been happening. I’ll keep adding to this as you can’t be an event photographer on an island like this if you’re not constantly taking photographs – there’s inspiration everywhere!

So it you’re needing a photographer for your latest event, product launch or family get-together, just get in touch. Reasonable prices and a passion for what I do here! Take a little look at the slideshows below to get a flavour of what’s been happening on the island. Hope to see you all here soon!

About Me

I did think about writing this myself, but I always think it’s a bit weird writing about yourself, so over to my wife, Moira.

I have known Ben for 20 years and I’m writing this because he really is that good. He may be a bit scatty at times… I can’t remember the number of times this week he has misplaced something or other, but when it comes to photography he’s a natural talent.

Ben sees the moments that most people miss and the angles that seem quite bizarre but produce the most amazing photographs.

He is just a lovely man (yeah, I know I’m biased!) and wonderful dad to Brody – the bagpiping-highland dancing manic – and Finn – “car, hello, tractor…” repeat.

Nothing is too much trouble for him and he always goes above and beyond in all he does. If you’re not happy, he’s not happy.

Moving to Islay was the best thing that we ever did, it’s given Ben the opportunity to do what he’s best at, taking pictures that make people happy.

Couldn’t have said it better myself! Hopefully that gives you a little about who I am, and why I should be the one to take pictures for you.
